The Dansprint kayak ergometer combines a highly realistic paddle feeling with advanced accurate performance measurements and a unique mechanical standard. The kayak ergometer uses a specially designed resistance fan which closely resembles the drag and inertia of a K1 kayak. The resistance can be adjusted by regulating the air-intake. The kayak ergo comes with an optional sophisticated on-board computer with a large graphical display which provides information on the athlete’s performance. Dansprint power measurements are very precise and need no calibration or adjustment. Conversion to speed is done using an advanced physical model based on kayak resistance tests.
